Successful trading night.

Almost a dozen and half members of the Regina Philatelic Club attended the March 4th meeting of the club.

The business section of the meeting started with the financial report by club treasurer Julius H. His two part report described the finances of the club as of the end of February, and then reported that the club’s Stamp Show was as successful as last year. The paid attendance increased, but so did the expenses. The net profit will help to support the activities of the club for the remainder of the season.

President Ian Yeates then thanked all the members who participated in the preparation for the show, cheerfully volunteered to assist with the set-up, sold the admission tickets and was on hand to clean up after the end of the show.

There was no auction at this meeting, but members were busy with the trading night activities. Local stamp dealer Brian B. also helped some members fill empty spots in their stamp collections.
